Subscription to charts and navigation data will be provided to new TBM owners at the time of delivery

Orlando, Florida, November 1, 2016 – Daher, manufacturer of the TBM very fast turboprop aircraft family – the TBM 900 and TBM 930 – and Jeppesen, a Boeing Company, today announced an agreement to bundle Jeppesen NavData® and digital charts with the delivery of new Daher TBM very fast turboprop aircraft.

This service, unveiled at the 2016 Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition in Orlando, Florida, eliminates the need for pilots to purchase avionics data packages on their own, as selected navigation data will be onboard and ready to use at the point of delivery.

Taking effect in 2017, the subscription will be activated at Daher’s delivery of new TBM aircraft.

“Daher customers expect the top aircraft technology and performance available, and our partnership with Jeppesen enhances this capability through pre-loaded navigation data and charts,” said Nicolas Chabbert, Senior Vice President of the Daher Airplane Business Unit. “Our goal is to provide customers with a premier, customized experience when investing in an aircraft purchase, and the agreement helps us to deliver on this promise.”

Through the agreement, Jeppesen will supply NavData and digital charts for TBM 900 and TBM 930 aircraft. In addition to the bundled Jeppesen data options available with the purchase of Daher aircraft, the acquisition of TBMs with Garmin’s G1000/G3000 integrated flight deck provides the choice of PilotPak data that incorporates supplemental databases – including SafeTaxi, airport diagrams, as well as obstacle and terrain data.

“Daher is a globally-established aircraft manufacturer that pilots recognize for providing a high-end flying experience,” said Reggie Arsenault, Director of Jeppesen General Aviation Client Management. “We are pleased to partner with Daher to offer multiple flight data bundle services to meet the specific requirements of each pilot as they take to the skies in their new Daher aircraft.”

About the Daher TBM 900 & 930www.tbm.aero

The TBM 900 and TBM 930 are the latest members in Daher’s TBM family of very fast single-engine turboprop aircraft. Differences between the two models are concentrated on their primary avionics: Garmin’s G1000 avionics system with physical keypad for the TBM 900; Garmin’s G3000 with touchscreen controller for the TBM 930.

Both aircraft offer superior performance – a maximum cruise speed of 330 kts. – and high efficiency with a 1,730-naut. mi. maximum range and a fuel consumption at economy cruise of 37 U.S. gallons per hour. This results from aerodynamic improvements, along with other aircraft enhancements. The maximum range and useful load, as well as the ability to land at small airports, are some of the customers’ favorite features.

Overall, Daher has booked a total of 154 orders for the TBM 900 and TBM 930 since their launch in 2014 and 2016, respectively. As of October 31, the 37 deliveries made so far in 2016 brought the total number of TBM-series aircraft received by customers to 806, with this global fleet accumulating some 1.38 million flight hours.
